Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations have gained escalating attention across both domestic and international establishments. The act of investing in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors holds notable sway over a company’s financial constituents, amplifying its capacity for sustainability. This study dataset encompasses insights drawn from 331 articles collected from the Scopus database, originating in 207 journals ranging from 1989 to 2022. Employing quantitative bibliometric analysis, this endeavor uncovers existing and potential paths within ESG research. The swift upsurge in scholarly publications signals a mounting global inclination toward prioritizing the ESG paradigm, encompassing domains like eco-conscious investing, socially responsible investing, circular economic paradigms, and the attainment of sustainable goals. Over the past decade, this inquiry spotlights pivotal discoveries that underscore the burgeoning importance and propensity for ESG investment. This composition introduces annual growth of published articles, most relevant keywords, comprising preeminent authors on institutional levels, collaborative authorship patterns, citation trend and the most influential journals and authors. The bibliometric examination distinctly maps out various developmental stages within this realm of inquiry, as well as nascent lines of exploration that merit more comprehensive investigation.
