From Tradition to Tech: Investigating the Relation between Technology, Credit Access and Job Stability among Handloom Workers

The research aims to investigate the impact of technology adoption and access to credit on the job stability of the workers of the handloom industry. Nowadays the handloom industry is in a position to solve the problem of job stability of the workers. Here the researcher addresses the issue of whether the technology adoption and access to credit have impact on the job stability of the handloom workers.The study area is Kuthampully handloom village. Researcher collected the data by using a structured questionnaire and it distributed to the handloom workers in the Kuthampully village. Here the researcher used descriptive statistics, correlation, regression, and t-test to analyze data. The study found that the majority of the workers are from rural areas and most of the workers use technology to understand the trend of the market and to market their products through different platforms. Then study found that technology adoption and access to credit  have an impact on the job stability of wokers.
