Despite its immense importance, the potato supply chain in India is beset with difficulties that have an impact on farmer earnings and the industry’s competitiveness. To understand the existing trends in the field of supply chain linkages and farmers income, thorough analysis of academic literature published during 1997 to 2024, were conducted by using bibliometric approaches to identify important contributors, trends, and patterns in this field of study etc. The findings emphasize the significance of various elements in influencing supply chain linkages and farmers’ income, including social dynamics, policy interventions, farmer empowerment, sustainability initiatives, and IT innovation. This study also outlined the future directions of research which includes the role of digital technologies, farmer cooperatives, supply chain coordination, and contract design in enhancing farmers’ income and supply chain sustainability. The outcomes of this study will be used to dig into the issues and challenges in supply chain linkages among different stakeholders in major potato-producing districts of Uttar Pradesh.
