This study examines the prevailing leadership style that can promote the healthy culture inside academic institutions. Authors used structural equation modeling technique to test the validity of the theoretical model. Survey based research questionnaire were employed using convenience-based sampling to collect data from 300 employees from different educational institutions in Nepal. The results of this study reveals that leadership style, especially achievement-oriented leadership style, has positive impact on organizational culture. continuous reinforcement for team development, learning organization through open communication, commitment to innovation and creativity and individual performance in organization were found to be the major indicators of organizational culture and also have the significant impact upon leadership style. Thus, the study suggests that these cultural factors may be applicable for the enhancement of teacher and organizational performance and could be further contributory in developing organizations with social value.
