A Bibliometric Study of Scholarly Networks in International Business Research

This study presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of scholarly networks within the field of International Business (IB) over the period 2020-2024, utilizing the VOSviewer software to analyse 1,314 publications. Our research aims to map the collaboration patterns and measure the impact of academic contributions in IB, focusing on co-authorship, citation networks, and thematic evolutions. By employing VOSviewer, we identified key nodes of collaboration and pivotal publications that significantly influenced the domain. The findings reveal a robust network of international collaborations, with predominant contributors from United States of America, United Kingdom, China, Australia and India. We also traced the evolution of thematic priorities in IB, noting a marked emphasis on digital transformation, sustainability, and global market dynamics post-pandemic. The study highlights the influential institutions and authors, shedding light key themes that guide research in this area. Area. Moreover, the analysis elucidates the impact of such collaborations on advancing the understanding of complex international business operations.
