Intelligent Technologies which broadly include Artificial intelligence (AI) and its allies allow individuals to reimagine how we combine information, analyze data, predict the future based on the insight received from data and apply the ensuing insights to better decision making. It is already revolutionizing every aspect of human existence. The present issue contains well curated articles on the insight and applications of these intelligent technologies in the diversified domains of business and life, ranging from healthcare sector to oil & gas sector and so on.

In healthcare domain, two excellent articles discuss the use of SWIN transformer in detecting breast cancer and an early prediction model of heart disease. Both illnesses are of life-taking risk category and any innovation or smallest contribution towards early detection of these would remain a great help to mankind. Ahatsham Hayat has achieved a high accuracy of his proposed SWIN transformer-based breast cancer detection model while Gunji JaiSadhashiva et.al. compared various available techniques for early detection of cardiac arrest and concluded that random forest gives best result.

Online financial transactions lead to frauds and day by day as we are going digital these frauds are becoming challenges. Hassan Joshua and his team has proposed an ML based prediction system for credit card related frauds in one of the articles included in this volume. Article by Noore Zahra presents a comprehensive framework for the online environmental monitoring system which is based on cloud database. While an enhancement attempt has been made in the article which presents the facial recognition system by P. Srinadh et.al.

Education sector has also not been left behind from the use of intelligent technologies. The availability and use of affordable audio video devices and animation schemes over fast networks has brought in metaverse to change the face of education sector. A critical analysis of metaverse in education by Sugandha Chakraverti et.al. is also included in this volume. Aditya Raj et. al. has presented a study on implementing machine learning for safety and security of oil and gas pipelines.

Finally, Deepty Dubey et.al. has proposed and discussed a design of an integrated framework using ATM and 5G concepts for supporting NextGen enterprise networks.

Overall, I feel assured that it will be a nice read to the readers and definitely will add knowledge to their base.
