This issue is brought-in to you while a ray of hope is emerging to get rid of COVID19 pandemic and life coming back to normal. Technology has played a vital role in all this duration of pandemic fighting against it. Many technological advancements has happened to cope up with so called new-normal. While the life is coming back to normalcy, these advancements become of more use in the sense of predicting any such next situations. And may be, will be handy to cope up with that day.
This issue contains five articles from different areas. Daniel D. Wisdom et al., has compiled and presented the best practices and challenges in mitigating the cybersecurity of healthcare data. There are certain legal and ethical issues associated with the health data while it is disclosed to the researchers for further mining it, and if this data goes in wrong hands there can be many challenges associated with it. All these issues have been discussed by the authors. On the other hand, a very relevant topic and design of development of low cost touch-free hand sanitizer dispenser to fight against COVID-19 has been put forward by Ravi Tomar and his colleague. Hopefully this design is patented and goes into product.
Machine learning algorithms are everywhere now-a-days and social media is also not untouched by this. The unorganized data of twitter and the sentiments associated with tweets can be analyzed with the use of various machine learning algorithms, Prerna et al., has depicted this in her paper.
The issue also contains the feature extraction procedure of gray scale images by Sumit Kumar and a systemic review of mobile database systems for Green Mobile Computing Ecosystem in Nigeria by Kingsley Igulu.
Overall, with the hope of pandemic getting over soon and normal days ahead, this is an attempt to make readers informed on variety of topics related to computer science and intelligent technologies.
Happy reading!!!
